Electronic Visit Verification (EVV)

The 21st Century Cures Act requires providers to use an Electronic Visit Verification System (EVV) for all in-home personal care services (PCS) and home health services (HHS) provided to Medicaid members.  Starting on December 30, 2022, services must be verified with either the State provided EVV solution, Sandata, or an alternate EVV solution of the provider’s choice that meets state and federal requirements.

All providers of in-home PCS and HHS who use Sandata or an alternate EVV solution must register with the Sandata provider self-registration portal. Visit the Sandata EVV Provider Self-Registration Portal. You will need your Medicaid Provider Identification Number (MCD ID) to register. If you need help with identifying your MCD ID, please contact DMAP Provider Services from 8:00 AM ET to 4:30 PM ET at 1-800-999-3371, select option 0, option 4.  Once the registration process is complete, providers may begin accessing the Sandata training resources provided below.
