21st Century Cures Act
In accordance with the 21st Century Cures Act, all billing, rendering, attending, ordering, referring and prescriber providers of services/items to Medicaid beneficiaries must register/enroll with the Delaware Medical Assistance Program (DMAP). For dates of services on and after October 1, 2023, claims will deny if the providers are not registered/enrolled with DMAP or otherwise deemed “engaged” by DMAP. Enroll with DMAP today
Delaware First Health is doing what we can to avoid 21st Century Cures Act claims rejections and denials. Our providers have access to a weekly report to confirm whether the provider data billed on claims matches the information registered on DMAP and on the engaged list. To access the report, sign in to Delaware First Health Provider Portal, scroll down to the bottom, click on the “Reports” and download the latest version of the “DMAP Registration Report.
