There are webinar opportunities where you can get answers to your questions to thoroughly onboard you as a participating provider in our network. Please register in advance using the links below.

Beginning Oct. 21, you can validate eligibility and benefits, submit claims, check claim status, submit authorizations, and access all Delaware First Health, Ambetter of DE and Wellcare payer resources via Availity Essentials.

Enrolling for a provider webinar in the Availity Learning Center (ALC)     

  1. Log in to Availity Essentials.
  2. Select Help & Training > Get Trained.
  3. ALC opens in a new browser tab. If it does not, have the user check their browser settings to allow for pop-ups and redirects from apps.availity.com and availitylearning.learnupon.com.
  4. Select the Sessions tab.
  5. Select the View Course button next to the webinar.
  6. Select the Enroll button.

Delaware First Health offers trainings for both behavioral health and physical health providers in our network at no cost. Our team provides mostly clinical, provider-focused education on topics that are geared towards improving member outcomes. The majority of our clinical trainings also offer behavioral health continuing education units also at no cost to the attendee. Trainings are completed via live/virtual instructor led webinars.

How to Register for trainings:

3. Enter the required information and click “Register”

4. You will receive a confirmation email with a link and instructions for joining the webinar.

     NOTE: Please check your junk folder if you do not receive the confirmation email.

5. When you join the webinar, the call-in telephone number and an attendee passcode will be displayed.

Delaware First Health is delighted to share this invitation on behalf of Delaware’s Division of Medicaid and Medical Assistance (DMMA), Mercer and Bowling Business Strategies (BBS) are excited to present a new webinar series, “Birth Equity: Pregnancy, Parenting, and Drug Use” a crucial platform led by Dr. Kima Taylor and Dr. Mishka Terplan of Doing Right by Birth. 

This five-session series of 90-minute webinars will focus on providing equitable access to and outcomes from the care of pregnant and parenting people who use drugs or have a substance use disorder. The series structure will follow the reproductive life course from preconception through prenatal care, birth, postpartum, and early child development. The emphasis overall will be on providing equitable access to and outcomes from evidence-informed, culturally effective, and non-punitive care by promoting dyadic wellbeing.

Topic: Pregnancy and Substance Use: Holistic Prenatal Care:Screening, Assessment, Treatment, and Beyond (Part 1)

In this two-part presentation we will review principles and elements of prenatal care for people with SUD. Part one will review preconception care, screening versus testing, SUD treatment including MOUD initiation and continuation (split dosing, low dose initiation, etc), other health concerns(syphilis, physical and mental health concerns, for example), harm reduction, and care coordination.

These two sessions will introduce the concept of the 4th trimester. The first session will focus onthe immediate post-birthing hospitalization with an emphasis on dyadic care. This includes but is not limited to equitable access to and outcomes from culturally and linguistically effective, evidence informed infant care for SEN, early attachment supports, chronic disease management, and warm handoffs for parent and infant for continuing care.

Clinical Guidance for Treating Pregnant and Parenting Women* with Opioid Use Disorder and Their Infants

The Clinical Guidance training provides comprehensive, evidence-based information to provide the optimal management of pregnant and parenting women with opioid use disorder and their infants. Delaware First Health is pleased to partner with Payspan Health to provide an innovative web-based solution for Electronic Funds Transfers (EFTs) and Electronic Remittance Advices (ERAs).  This service is provided at no cost to providers and allows online enrollment. Payspan offers monthly training webinars for providers. These webinars cover the registration process for both electronic funds transfers as well as registering and navigating the Payspan portal where providers will be able to view their explanation of payments. For additional support, providers can also contact the Payspan call center at 1-877-331-7154 (ext. 1), Monday-Friday between the hours of 8am-8pm ET.
