Value Added Benefits

As a member, you are able to get extra services in addition to your regular benefits. These are called Value Added Benefits (VAB). For questions or to learn how to get these services, please contact Member Services at 1-877-236-1341 (TTY: 711).

Pharmacy OTC Members may select from an Enhanced list of Over The Counter (OTC) items. A list of available OTC items can be found here: Pharmacy Over the Counter Brochure (PDF). Order over the phone 1-888-628-2770 or Online.
  • $120 per year per household ($30 per calendar quarter).
Community-Based Wellness Programs 

Community-based programs to support wellness goals:

  • Children (under 18): Summer camps or other programs

  • Adults 18+ with BMI 25+: Weight Watchers  

  • Adults 60+: Senior center membership and additional programs and services
  • Weight Watchers only: must be age 18+ with BMI 25+ 
  • Community-Based Wellness Programs cannot exceed $250/member per year
Diabetes Prevention Program COMING SOONLifestyle change program on healthy eating and physical activity.
  • Qualifying members age 16+ with prediabetes.
GED Testing
  • GED Testing vouchers and tutoring
  • Members age 16+ not currently enrolled in school.
  • Cannot exceed $200/year.
My Health Pays®  RewardsEarn dollar rewards on your My Health Pays Visa Prepaid Card for making healthy choices.
  • Can be used on items such as utilities, transportation, daycare, etc. and at Walmart/Sam’s Club 
  • Certain items are excluded such as tobacco & alcohol. 
  • Cards must be used in person.
ConnectionsPlus PhoneCell phone for high-needs members.
  • Members involved in Care Coordination or Case Management with qualifying needs.
Vision BenefitEvery year, adults (21+) are eligible for a comprehensive eye exam with refraction and an eyewear allowance of up to
$160
  • Must be age 21+ and must not exceed $160 for eyewear. 
  • Eyewear includes for frames, lenses, lens upgrades, or contact lenses
TutoringUp to 6 hours of tutoring per year for members k-12 grade who are at risk of falling behind on one or more core subject area
  • Must be ages 5-18 and proof of failing grades may be required.
  • Cannot exceed $200/year.
HousingOne-time housing transition grant may be available for members who are experiencing homelessness to supportive or independent housing; foster care to independent living; or transitioning from nursing facilities to community living (in addition to state’s benefit).
  • Must have assigned Care Manager
  • Funds may be used for security deposits, rent, utilities, support animal deposits, food, household goods, eviction diversion services
  • Foster Care must be 18-26
  • Cannot exceed $2500/lifetime
Asthma ManagementAt home non-clinical Asthma support such as mold removal, carpet cleaning, hypoallergenic bedding, low VOC cleaning products, or air purifiers.
  • Qualifying members with an asthma diagnosis enrolled in Care Coordination
  • Cannot exceed $250 annually
Social Isolation Support App Mobile app providing social isolation support.
  • Members 18+
Post-Discharge HomeDelivered MealsPost Discharge meal delivery benefits to members at high risk for readmissions. Eligible members can receive 3 meals a day for 7 days after being discharged from the hospital or other inpatient facility. 
  • Maximum of 42 meals per year, must be 18 years or older and in Care Coordination
Behavioral Health Support App Access to mobile app to help manage stress, anxiety, chronic pain & more
  • Must be age 13+
Whole Health TransportationTransportation to Value Added Services (Weight Watchers, GED Testing, Etc.) and additional qualifying services and events, such as rides to the pharmacy and home delivery of prescriptions where available.
  • Rides to other Value-Added Benefits as needed
  • 2 round trips per month to the hospital for parents/caregivers 
  • 4 round trips per month for 60 days post-discharge from a facility to attend AA/NA/CA related meetings or events
  • 4 round trips per month for additional qualifying Health-Related Social Needs
Adult Dental BenefitPractice dental visits with a new dentist to meet the dental team, discuss voice preferences and concerns, and understand what happens in a dental appointment before exams or treatments.
  • Must be age 21+ with an intellectual or developmental disability (IDD)
